Scout Group Programs at the Erie Zoo

Scout Day at the Zoo!

Join us as we celebrate Party for the Planet Day at the Zoo on May 3, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Along with the Earth Day activites;  scouts, siblings, homeschoolers and families can sign up for additional activities just for them (focused on zoo careers)!  There are two pricing options:

Option A: Includes admission to the zoo, a fun patch, carousel ride, animal meet and greet, special activity stations and supplemental materials:  Erie Zoo members are $8 and non-members are $12; Children 23 months and under are free but should be registered.  Everyone (parents and siblings) must pay to attend the scout program to access all of the private special activities in the classrooms.

Option B: Includes everything above except the supplemental activities and the fun patch.  Erie Zoo members are $6 and non-members are $10; Children 23 months and under are free but should be registered.  Everyone (parents and siblings) must pay to attend the scout program to access all of the private special activities in the classrooms.

*Currently, we are not running any badge programs. You can check out the Educational classroom programs page and choose one of those options for your group.

We do have Educational Scavenger Hunts available that you can prepay for and pick up near the front of the zoo.  You have to contact Kim at [email protected] or (814)864-4091 x 1127 to make arrangements to pay and pick those up.  This is a great way to explore the zoo and learn about Animal Adaptations or Endangered Species.
